In last week's class, we discussed "The Voices in My Head," explaining that your thoughts are only thoughts and need not be believed, obeyed, or even identified as belonging to you. We'll follow-up this week with a program about intuition called "The Whispers in My Heart."
Often considered emotional rather than mental in nature, intuition is a remarkable phenomenon, especially when it reveals new and unknown information. Individuals who are less informed about intuition often assume it is simply a creative inner voice reflecting unconscious combinations and permutations of known information. But those who study intuition admit, it is much more than that. Imagine men like Albert Einstein saying, "The only real valuable thing is intuition," which he called, "a feeling for the order lying behind the appearance." That's quite a spiritual statement for a man of science -- indeed, one of the most venerable scientists ever.
