Hello AWMS subscriber :
Monty Python sketches, first broadcast by England's BBC in 1969, changed the face of comedy forever. Never blue or vulgar, Python bits were always clever, often brilliant satirical comments about Western society and its values.
Later, the films, "In Search of the Holy Grail," "The Life of Brian," and "The Meaning of Life" directly assaulted rigid church doctrine and dogma. Yet the co-founder of the troupe, John Cleese, is not irreligious. Quite the contrary, Cleese is a philosophically deep-thinker with much to say about consciousness and the bicameral mind.
Join us for this week's Ageless Wisdom Show as we welcome our special guest, actor-comedian, John Cleese.
The Ageless Wisdom Mystery School program is heard every Tuesday at 1:00 PM Pacific on KPFK-90.7 FM for all of Southern California. It also live-streams for the world at www.KPFK.org (20-hrs summer / 21-hrs winter, UTC) and is podcast on all podcatchers and player apps.
