Hello AWMS subscriber :
Ever since Dr. Hans Selye began writing about stress in the early 1950s, the primary concern among the public has been its impact on physical health and performance. However, Selye was very aware of the impact of stress on our ability to think clearly while remaining emotionally aware.
Releasing muscular tension with relaxation and slow, deep breathing is an essential component of meditation and contemplation. It quiets the mind and calms our emotions to greatly enhance self-awareness as well as physical performance and overall health.
Use the highlighted link below to join us for this Sunday's free Zoom class as we explore the importance of stress management — not merely reducing stress but finding the balance between distress and the good stress that's essential to peak performance (eustress).
The Zoom room opens at 10:50 AM PDT. Tell your friends to join in, too, and we'll see you then. Thanks.
