You requested this newsletter some time ago because of your interest in metaphysics, mysticism, and mindfulness to develop emotional intelligence and higher consciousness. In that context, I want to focus our attention on Donald Trump's re-election.
I don't know many MAGA people. So, most people I know are currently in shock — living this week in a semi-lucid nightmare of anxiety, confusion, and uncertainty.
How could the majority of our neighbors choose a convicted felon who cannot own a gun to be America's commander-in-chief with control of our nuclear arsenal? What does it say about who we are as a nation that we elect a convicted rapist, racist, sadistic conman, and psychopath because a woman of color can't be trusted?
Though my ongoing Saturday Zoom Salon is tuition-based and limited to 12 people, I'm opening it up this coming Saturday, November 9th, to everyone on this mailing list, free of charge.
We will NOT discuss political policy or how to build support for the Democratic party. Instead, through group discussion, we'll review the original, spiritual vision of American democracy and its mission to foster and preserve human rights, liberty, and equality under honorable, non-partisan law and order. Further, we will focus on practical tools and techniques for stress reduction and emotional intelligence.
